Kumamoto Uozou, located in Tetori-honmachi, Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City, offers a wide variety of dishes made with ingredients from Kyushu, especially Kumamoto. Our restaurant offers a taste of Kyushu's rich bounty, such as Kumamoto red beef, horse sashimi, Tsushima sea bass, and squid from Yobuko.
Among our specialties, we are especially proud of our sashimi made with fresh seafood. Our craftsmen carefully prepare the dish using an abundance of seafood, such as nodoguro (red mullet) from Tsushima and "yarika" from Yobuko. In addition, the horse sashimi, a typical Kumamoto local dish, is made with fresh horse meat from Kumamoto and has a melt-in-your-mouth flavor.
